I have 50 1 ton pickup im just getting finished.. I have ordered a new master cylinder twice and it comes back looking identical but has very larger brake line fittings that dont match the truck fittings.. Are the master cylinders different for 1/2, 3/4, and one ton pickups? The normal online vendors usually dont have 1 ton stuff.

The napa dealer used the old one to get numbers and order, and says its the correct one.. Anyone have the correct part number/vendor to get the correct one ordered..

Hy dirtball, my research indicates the 1949 - 52 3/4 and one ton master cylinders are the same p/n, Raybestos p/n MC9221 1 1/4" bore with 1/2" X 20 t.p.i. port (1/4' inverted flare female). RockAuto has a manufacturer closeout at the moment $37.04 in Canadian dollars, hope that helps.
