Got a new stereo radio for my '62 C-10. The radio fits fine in the original holes in the dash, but some mental midget before me had drilled 2 new holes for the knobs on a cheapo radio. Well, the new holes now show since the new radio faceplate was not big enough to cover the entire area. Is there someone out there that makes custom radio faceplates, or sells them pre-made ? Thanks in advance.

Dear Tim;

This has been (mental midgets) a problem since Hot Rodding began in 1945. Especially on trucks. eek

Short of doing body work, you'll just have to make one. See if you can find a scrap piece of wood panneling at the lumber yard.

Another way is to install a factory "delete plate" and mount your radio elsewhere.

Good luck. smile
