I asked a while back here on the forum about better windshield blades for my truck as all of the reproduction wiper blades I could find were just not very good. I look everywhere I see wiper blades for 12" blades and I finally spotted some at the local parts store. I got him to order me some arms that they would fit on and now I finally have wipers that are as good as a modern truck. The wiper blades are made by Anco and the part number is 91-12. The wiper arms are adjustable for the length and blade angle. They are also made by Anco. 41-02 is the part number for the arms. If your local parts store can't get them, you can probably do a search and order them on line.

blades I use are Anco 20-12, which is what's found on the Anco search

can't say, but I think they're repros I got very many years ago, don't have that adjustable angle end [although I have had those on previous vintage trucks], they have a slightly curved stub with a nub on top

I had original style arms and they didn't hold the blades on "firmly". They had a lot of slop to them and the cheap import blades would come apart on me. The first set I had came off the first time I had to drive in the rain. This is my only car so I had to come up with something better.

Wow Gene, those parts price out at O'Reilly's at $90 per set!! Our blades rot it the sun in 9 mo's. Only 6-7 inches of rain a year, that's about 3 days a year. I can squint for free.

The arms are kind of high but that is a one time cost. I think that the blades were less than $10.00 each where I went. I haven't priced wiper blades for a modern car lately but that can't be that much higher than blades for a new F-150. If I was lucky enough to live in the desert, I wouldn't have worried about upgrading. It can rain a lot in NE Oklahoma though.

Rockauto has the adjustable Anco arms for $21.79ea. part #4101 And the Trico blades for $8 ea. #33122. Still not cheap, but here in So Cal, sometimes when you need them, you really need them!
