Just bought a 39 Chevy and dragged it home with the bed unattached. Put it on the rails last weekend and it looks about 6 inches short. Anyone know what the bed length on a 39 is supposed to be?

Anyone need a nice bed box?

Never mind. Looks like I have a 3/4 ton truck with a 125 inch wheelbase. And a short 78" box. Probably can't add 10 inches to the bed without it being noticable. So, keep the box and chop the rails? I wanted to keep it original so this would be painful. Any ideas?

Bread,
I'm in Michigan so not sure if you'd be interested in picking it up. But it's definitely cash I can use for the correct one. IM or email me an offer.
