Does anyone have a pic of these springs or dimensions? My truck didn't have them.

Look at Tim Sheridans site, he has lots of pictures, here is where to look, the pictures are not to far down in this link. I could not find original springs, tried all over to get something suitable with no luck. What I settled on for my 41are the springs out of the tie rod ends, maybe someone else has a source but that is what I did. I had lots of them laying around after rebuilding mine. Hope that helps. The spring wire is rather thick, 1/4 diameter if I recall correctly and the OD of the coil is larger than the springs in the draglink. I never could find any true comparable springs. Unfortunately it is one of the items that often gets pitched when a farmer/bubba replaces an engine. They show up once in a while though, keep hunting.

I just got done doing my 53 GMC support and the springs look a lot like SBC valve springs only shorter .You could take them and shorten two of them.

I am using valve springs from a corvair (smaller low horse power 1960-63 engine valves).
