So I know that when you are looking at it from the back side the battery is on the bottom of the "y", So my question is which is the ignition the left or the right side? Also when the truck is shut off shouldn't the key be straight up and down? That is what mine does I just thought it was weird because to me you would put the key in straight up and down and then turn it to shut it off.

My switch has three position and figured extreme right was start and it did not return. It has the optional 4 speed manual tranny. It does not have the pedal start.
