Hi
I am upgrading a 54 1/2ton to a dual master cylinder. I am also replacing some other stuff along the way. I am having trouble finding fittings. I am trying to find replacement fittings for the rear brake cylinders. I don't think I can get the old block fittings so I am looking at using a banjo fitting. Has anyone done something similar? Is there a good place to find these things. An internet search wasn't all that helpful. I am pretty sure that I can replace the wheel cylinder with a '55 and on which, I believe, will fit and uses a direct double flare into the cylinder. But only if I can't find anything else.

Thanks
John

Jim Carters - Chevy of the Forties - The Filling Station - lots of other sites, shop around.

I'd replace everything: Wheel Cylinders - Fittings - Banjo Bolts - Brake Hoses & metal brake lines.

Sample of some brake parts for your 1954 Half Ton
below @ photobucket.

Everything you need is available aftermarket.
