Couple of weeks ago, I did a post titled DEAD AGAIN. Shortly thereafter, the alternator with the external voltage regulator was replace with an alternator with internal volt. regulator, with single wire and new battery cables. This was done on the advice of the chief mechanic, at WyDOT in Buffalo, where I use to work. I was in engineering and I'm not a mechanic. Anyway, this seems to have cured my problem. I was advised to change the cables as a precaution, because I was told that even if cables look good, on the outside, they may be bad inside the housing (insulation).
