I'm wondering what silicon or rtv or gasket sealer you guys are using? Timing cover, intake manifold and oil pan. Right now my timing cover has a minor seepage. And it's been 2 years of abuse since last tear down. Motor is a small block.

Make sure your timing cover flanges are in good shape and the torqued down properly. I have an 18in file I run across bolt on parts (that I can) and will work the high spots to get a good surface all around.
