New to Stovebolt so I not quite sure how to navigate yet. Just picked up a 1965 GMC stepside short bed. It has a 350 crate engine with a turbo auto trans. Trying to make street legal with mirrors, light etc. I picked up some turn signal lenses for the hood but I am not quite sure how to attach them.

Get a good flashlight open the hood and take a close look from the inside. There are two bottom and two top metal tabs. If you push both in at the same time you can push out that top/bottom side then same with the other. The lens and bulb housing pops out the front of the hood. The bulb and bulb holder pop out towards the rear of the truck. Two rivets hold the lens to the bulb housing. Drill those out and set new ones to change lens. As far as getting both tabs pushed in at the same time, the service manual has plans for making you own tool to hold both in. You may want to order a service manual for you new truck. Good luck with it they are pretty cool.

I had to grind down the rivet heads to fit into the holes in the front of the lens...I used pop rivets instead of the ones that came with the lens
