Will the original flywheel work? It is a 9 1/4" setup, and the flywheel is very heavy. Builder ask if I would like to look for a lighter flywheel with a bigger clutch package...so...any suggestions? Any tips to installing the suggested solution?

Joined: Mar 2000 Posts: 1,179 | Well, mine is using the original flywheel, and it works fine. I don't know why he would suggest a lighter flywheel. Unless you plan on racing the 235  , I really don't think it'll make much difference. The cluch is different from stock because the splines are different on the T5 from the stock three speed, but that's about it. | | |
