so guys i will post some photos of the parts of the truck, its a lot LOT of work i know but i have all the exterior parts,and for 100 dollars well its not that bad,has i say i have everything of the exterior and interior but i need a donor car,what are my options,i need rear axle engine trans,can i buy almost any chevrolet and swap suspension,engine and trans,i was thinking they are selling me a 90s corvette for 400dollars can i swap the engine and trans maybe the rear axle,i know i need to custom a lot of thinks but is possible to swap a corvette engine here?
(yep thats a ranger,i did rescue the parts from the junkyard so didnt have time to rent a dolly or something)

If you include what truck you're working on in the post you'll get more info. You've got a 42-46 cab and frame. Do you have fenders, a grille, and box? If not I think you'll find they're very expensive to locate, especially in good condition.

Yes, a corvette engine will fit. No, all GM suspension will not fit. Some will be too wide, but that depends on what you want. Full size cars and trucks will give you issues with wheel rubbing on the fenders and track width, but that's no issue if you want a high-riding vehicle.

You need to figure out what you want. Do you want a low-sitting corner carver? If so, go for the C4 suspension that you mentioned. What ride height and use are you wanting from this truck? The S-10 frame swap is good and is easy to make a low-riding vehicle with wide wheels that fill the fenders. Look at the pics of mine.

I don't know the track width of the C4 corvette, you'll have to do some checking on that, as that could be a possible issue.

The Corvette engine you referenced is simply a small block Chevy. There is lots of room for it in there. I fit a 455 Buick in mine, although it's not much bigger than the SBC.

I recommend you research old posts on different forums to see what's been done and go from there.

dump the frame you have and go find a 1983-89 s-10 pickup regular cab with a long bed and then go to this website.....www.easychassisswaps.com ... easiest way to go with what you have, then you can put you're v8 in it and have all the modern suspension .. or if you're lucky enough to find one with a 4.3 v6 motor, those run well also

The S10 swap and M2 seem to be the staple when it comes to swaps.

Why not try a Chevy Trailblazer/ GMC Canyon? It's been gaining some popularity as of lately.

You get a bigger more powerfull inline 6, 4 wheel disc brakes, and a 4 link rear, right out of the gate.
