OK,my 53 3100, I adjusted the passenger door till I give up. Yes, I have searched and read all threads. Door sticks out from cab 3/16 of an inch at the bottom rear and almost hitting metal to metal at the top rear. Belt line lines up when closed, door closes and opens well. Gapped evenly front and back. Flush with cab at front. Any suggestions other than bending the bottom hindge?

Did they fit before?

New/ diffrent doors?
Manual says to bend hindge or elongate the holes

If you get desperate, take off hinges and strikers and put door in cab doorway and see if it actually would level/flush/space out, or is it racked....or cab racked. If it does actually fit you will know that DADS info will eventually work. If it won't fit that way, you will have to rack it(lots-a-luck) or get another door. It does seem that .1875 is not a lot to even out at top and bottom .093 each. Factory specs are close to that. You didn't say, as DADS has asked, what you are doing (or just did) or was it always like that. Also, is this with or without rubber? new rubber?

Thanks Gus and Bartamos, PO may have replace pass door as the color of the door did not quite match cab, I installed a door inner bottom and cab corner, so I may have created my problem. No door seal installed. I will remove hindges and see how it looks and take action from there. Thanks for the advise.

I have come to the conclusion that these doors weren't designed to fit well at all, and it is up to us to make them fit by whatever means necessary. I have had some success with a BFH to the hinge pillar, 2X4 as a pry bar to tweak the top of the door, opening up the holes in the hinges, cussing, and the careful throwing of tools. After you come out of it successful, do not let anyone talk to you, unless you have determined that they are worthy, as you are now the master.

Yep, my doors don't fit very well either. I left well enough alone and will live with it. I am almost certain the doors did not fit well when the truck left the factory.
