on the Internet for over 30 years! and not clogged down with Ads! Again, thanks! | | | | Joined: Feb 2014 Posts: 4 New Guy | | New Guy Joined: Feb 2014 Posts: 4 | Well tried buying my first rat project today, a 65 Chevy c10 stepside. Truck has a 350 with a 350 turbo automatic trans. Guy selling the truck claims it was a daily driver until this winter. The truck started but once it was engaged in drive or reverse, no go. He thinks that the pawl pin is locked/stuck/frozen or broke. I honestly have no idea. Needless to say I drove 2 hours with a trailer to pick this thing up and we couldn't budge it. Does anyone have any idea's what we might be dealing with. He wants the truck sold, and I want to buy it, but we need to get it rolling. Unfortunately its in a spot that we can't bring another vehicle in to persuade it. Thanks

Another words it won't act as though its in neutral. | | | | | Joined: Feb 2014 Posts: 4 New Guy | | New Guy Joined: Feb 2014 Posts: 4 | Yeah we talked about that. The seller was so confident that it would drive right on the trailer that I didn't bring tools, unfortunately he didn't have any either. He is working on it today, to try and resolve and hopefully we will get the deal done. I was 2 hrs from home so not just a quick trip. Lesson learned. | | | | | Joined: Feb 2014 Posts: 4 New Guy | | New Guy Joined: Feb 2014 Posts: 4 | Hahaha, yeah that's what I'm thinking | | | | | Joined: Oct 2013 Posts: 13 New Guy | | New Guy Joined: Oct 2013 Posts: 13 | Had a car like that-----emergency brakes were totally locked up.
