Who has put a 50's any year cab on a 4x4 blazer frame.I have a 85 blazer
And with the snow and cold here.I have time to think about this,I think this would be a nice project

There are many guys on here who have done S10 frame swaps. and a few fullsize blazer frame swaps have been done.

The 1985 full size blazer frame is 106.5" wheelbase, 1950 1/2 ton is 116".

My suburban is on a Fullsize short bed 4x4 frame it's 117" wheel base.

wheel width you will have to deal with also. or accept it with a lift.

research as much as you can!
