Hey Southern Bolters,

New to the site and getting my first old truck sometime today, A 1941 3/4 ton Chevy and looking forward to working on her and bringing her back to life.

I just love the metal work and grills on those old trucks. That grill is truly a work of art. Looks like you've got a great starting point!

Got her home and pressure washed it and rolled it in to the back of the garage then put a battery from my camper on it (found she had already been converted to 12 volt), new coil and cleaned and set the points and hit the starter shot it with starting fluid and Varooom she fired right up, Headlights work, Tail lights work and the heater fan spins, Brakes are frozen on the master cylinder and 2 wheels so the fuel system and brake system are first smile

Been working on getting the frozen brake drums off, 2 down 2 to go, Yes Alvin I hope to have it drivable before the big car shows come to town in September and cruise the strip with her.

Took the seat out and washed it and it appears to have been completely redone before it was parked, Cleaned up Nice!

Having trouble uploading pictures to photo bucket but when it will let me I will add links here for them.
