Anyone know where I can find braided cloth covered wire in the Vancouver area, 14 o16 gauge. It's for an old battery charger I want to restore for display.

I book marked them. I am heading down to Washington State to go to the LeMay car museum. I'll check down there too. Usually have better luck down there.

Paul, have talked to this guy, at our annual show and he's worth checking, if he doesn't have it he might have a source

Red58. Your contact does not carry braided wire. I know I can find it on the internet.

How much do you need Paul? What gauge approx?

I save old wiring harnesses, for patching things up on the daily driver. So, I might-could have what ya need.

I guess it is about 12 or 14 gauge, and I only need two pieces about 18". I was down the states on Thursday, but didn't have time to go shopping. My neighbor and I went to the LeMay museum in Tacoma to check out the VW exhibit and the rest of the old iron. They have some pretty nice stuff. Everything from 1900s electric cares to modern Ferraris. The modern stuff doesn't do much for me, but the old stuff makes me feel warm and fuzzy. eerrrrrrrr I mean they are really cool!

Mr. Lang.... Thanks for the offer, but I am going to order a whole roll. I'm going to use it on my Oliver tractor too.

Check out this place, http://brillman.com/store/. They have a wiring harness for the tractor already made up! Sweet!
