My accelerator pumps leak. Is there a trick to stopping this? Adhesive or something on the gaskets? What have you guys tried? I have dual holly 780's.
Thanks.

I can explain it to you, I can't understand it for you.

The diaphragm is ruptured or the cover is warped.

They say money can't buy happiness. It can buy old Chevy trucks though. Same thing.

The accelerator pump leak is usually where the bowl mates to the metering block. There is a small hole for the accelerator pump shot and the back pressure from small squirters will push a very small amount of fuel out past the gasket, this is directly above the accelerator pump and everybody blames the pump gasket.
