I have a set of VDO cockpit royal gauges.. I need a set of sending units.... oil pressure, water temperature and fuel ...

These will go in my 1942 Chevrolet 1/2 ton Pickup ..with a 1957 235 Chev engine...I have looked at various senders on the internet but am confused and was hoping someone had the part nos I need to order...

The gauges didn't come with the sending units!
I have classic instrument gauges and they came with everything but the temp unit, and that was with my wiring kit.
Sorry I can't help you, I'm just surprised.

Like Wilber says they generally come with the kit. You have to use the right senders to go with the gauges. Each co. has there own values. I would contact the manufactor or a dealer that handles them.

They say money can't buy happiness. It can buy old Chevy trucks though. Same thing.

I was looking up something in the Napa acessary catalog & noticed they have all the sensors for VDO gauges. Check with a Napa store or if you want i,ll get the part numbers when I am at tha shop.
