The charging voltage stays the same except some regulators are temperature compensated & it may vary a little. The amp. flow goes down as the battery builds up. It just happens naturally. As the voltage in the battery builds up there is no more flow. Kinda like airing up a tire with a 40 lb. tank. When the tire has 40 lbs pressure there is no more airflow.
