But, I'd say yes to: "is it easier to do them separately". The 47-55 Shop Manuals say the same thing, but I like to remove/install the engine/transmission separately. Wait to hear from people who have first-hand experience with a 46-era engine/transmission assembly. They will also know about the splash pans. | | |
