On my 46 1/2 ton I used the t-5 from an 89 s-10 as far as the shifter goes, I used the original s-10 shifter, all I did was took it off the tranny, unscrewed the chrome handle and stuck the curved shaft in a 10 ton press and straightened out,and screwed the chrome shaft back on and it fits perfect, and it didnt even hit the dash,see the shifter in this pic...
