Chevs of the 40's gets a lot of credit in my book. I e-mailed them the photo of my lousy kinked blue windlace and they called me today and said they were shipping the black, more pliable windlace, at no charge. They did have suggestions to cut slots in the windlace within the channel, but admitted that was somewhat of a band-aid.
Good customer service will bring me back every time.
