My truck is a 1/2 ton, 1953. I just got my transmissions swapped out, hooked everything back up, put the shifter back in. I have the truck on the hoist, just off the floor. I started the engine and am going through the gears. It shifts into all the gears fine (not sure about reverse) but when I let the clutch up, it stalls out as if it is stuck in 2 gears. I picked the transmission up at Jim Carter's last Sept, they checked it over, I think the problem is a minor one. Any help is much appreciated.
