Hey everyone,

I am new to the classic truck world and am hooked. Back in June, I picked up a 1949 Chevy 3100 that was literally 4 houses down and across the street from me. For about 5 years I've been driving past and drooling over this view Rear hoping I could some day buy it and work on it with my son Levi.

That day finally came and I hauled Herb back home (all 120 yards) with the help of my buddy and a tow strap. Towed There was so much accumulated dirt, I was barely able to see through a few paw prints Dirrr-teee to steer the thing home..

Herb had been sitting around for about 8 years collecting dust under a carport after having the frame stripped and painted, and the owner just never got around to finishing the job. frame

I've started cleaning up Herb and have been reading the heck out of this forum to get ideas of where to start and what can be done. Getting started

There is a ton of great info here, and i hope to share more progress as I dig deeper into getting Herb roadworthy.
