It's listed as "obsolete" by Delco-Remy, not surprising since it's a 1953 6 volt truck item with a 45 amp output by the information I've been able to find. That would make it a heavy-duty unit, as most 6 volt GM generators were either 30 or 35 amp items. To get the full charge current output, most of the regulators available these days would need to have the current regulator adjustment increased by about 10 amps or so. Not difficult- - - -just a spring tension change to the center coil assembly under the regulator cover, but the technician doing the adjusting needs to understand how to load the battery to get a correct current regulator adjustment.
