I am about to connect wires from my temp. gauge (red light and green light)to existing temp. sender. The connection on sender looks like a nail head that sticks out about 1/8" What connects the two wires to the sender? From manual wiring diagram it looks like a plastic connector but the NAPA parts store guy didnt know what I was talking about. Also, I'm curious about how one wire could indicate cold and the other hot when they are connected to the same place. Anyone familiar with the wiring set up.
