Having more than one muffler in a system isn't a new idea. Back in the 1950's it was not uncommon for some of the luxury barges like Cadillac, Continental, and Chrysler Imperial to have a small set of "resonators" near the outlet to handle any sound that got through the main muffler. Of course, the folks who bought those cars wanted total quiet. It's your ride- - - -do whatever makes you smile!
