| | | | Joined: Oct 2013 Posts: 13 New Guy | | New Guy Joined: Oct 2013 Posts: 13 | I'm trying to figure out the driveline in my new to me 53 Chevy 3100.
I went to grease and check all the levels as well as document the parts. I found I have a drive shaft with two universals with grease fittings rather than a torque tube. As Hotrod Lincoln pointed out I've had some major modification done. Now to figure out exactly what I have!
I've got a Rogers rebuilt 216 powering the truck and the following ;
Transmission serial. CBJ 105999. The casting says GM 48
Rear End. HA 0225
Anyone have any idea of what year and what vehicle they came out of ?
