Be it on this rear end or one out of a Mustang you have to get everything set correctly. This is a must. Correct pinion depth, correct ring gear location, etc. If your going to try it for the first time.... Try it something that parts are cheap and available for. Not a 63 year old heavy duty truck!
I have done around 6 R&P's in the last 15 years. It always takes a lot more time than I think. I can imagine that there are enough big truck shops in California that could handle this job and take the worry out of your head as to if it is done correctly. | | |
