If the advance mech. is wore out you can get a kit & o-haul it. Or just clean it all up & lube the mech. Make shure the vacuum advance is working or you may want to get an adjustable one & taylor it to your engine. If you have a 55-2 to 59 there inn,t any clearance at the firewall unless you take a hammer to it (the firewall). I put a Crane conversion kit in those models. They say money can't buy happiness.
