He says solid lifters on the valve train. I says no ticking. He says you have to adjust them right? My engine has solid lifters and after it warms up it sounds like a little sewing machine. My friend has a 216 and it sounds like a sewing machine also. So I says maybe you have hyd. lifters he says no he adjust his valves every 5,000 miles that is why it's so quiet......? Is every 5,000 miles a good time to adjust ????? I also heard that too tight and quiet valves are not that good......just wondering. | | |
