Last week I bought the floor mat at the Truck Shop in Orange, California. Today I put it in. The cutouts are correct and it fits perfect. I can't be happier. This truck has fought me every which way before.
One question. I have a 1948 3100 and the battery is under the floor. Do I put my cutoff at the starter or has anyone found a way to get to the battery and have a nice floor?

The 48 used the lower windlace retainer that screws into the side of the rocker panel, which allows you to tuck the mat under it (though not factory correct) without having to remove any screws. It helps to pry up on the inside edge of it to gain some extra clearance for easier tucking of the mat.
