on the Internet for over 30 years! and not clogged down with Ads! They use a set of points and a bi-metallic strip somewhat like the blinker cans on your turn signals. The gauges will work with the more modern variable resistance senders as I already replaced my fuel sender with a variable resistance type. My problem is finding the resistance vs. temp./pressure curves so I can find the correct sender that matches up to my gauges. That data is not listed when you search the FAPS computer files. Does anyone know where this data might be found on the computer or other place? I plan to visit the NAPA store today in hopes they may have an old book still available. This is a common problem for anyone who builds hot rods using a mixed bag of parts. Thanks
