I just got a 54 3600. It was my father's that just passed away. In searching found this thread with a lot of good info. :)
It does not have any bed on it right now. It has the tail lights setup for a stake bed. But my dad thought it should have a metal bed. Is there a way I can confirm this? He got the truck at auction mostly restored.
I found him rear 54 fenders a few years back and got them for him. The running board does run all the way to the front of the rear tires. I know trying to find the steel sides of a 54 bed are very hard from what I have read.
I am just trying to figure out how the truck came from the dealer.
