A link to the original would really clear things up.
What postion was the bolt in (vertical? Horizontal? Upside down?)
What about heat?
I'll put my MAPP torch up against any goo for breaking lose a bolt. Plus when the bolt is vertical or upside down you are hoping for capillary action. Heat physically breaks the rust bonds in any position.
I'll try it, but I'm not getting rid of my MAPP gas anytime soon.
