got them today. the box says "860 clip nut front end assembly # 14a(1/4") screw size gm, ford, Chrysler" it was on a display at an auto body supply store. they're a perfect match. the guy at the counter said they're common and should be easy to find if you know where to look. so now you know. thanks to all that replied.
