Achipmunk, how difficult was the 305 transplant ... and at what cost? My budget (and technical abilities) kept me from going with an engine upgrade during my restoration, but the more I think about it ... it may be a future project. The 235 runs well, but the 3-speed tranny just doesn't motivate to today's normal highway speeds. BTW, your two trucks look great!
