Got the new accelerator pump installed in the carb yesterday and the old girl came back to life.
Still needs some tuning; new spark plugs, adjust the timing and check the dwell as well as an oil change but at least she cranks up and runs good enough for now to get all warmed up and get the fluids flowing. After sitting up for the past couple of years it was great just to hear her run again.
