I'm in the process of installing an airflow heater in my 53 burb. I've read a lot of posts but first, wanted to clarify that a 6 volt fan motor will not last long in a 12 volt system? Next item, the fan switch, just on/off or should it be variable speed? Finally does the fan motor have to be a specific type in order to use a variable speed switch? Vehicle has been converted to 12 volt. Thanks,
