I do know this much, after an acid bath the part needs to be nutralized. a soda solution is used for muriatic acid and a few others. I use nitric acid in my bluing formula and use soda. Also boiling parts will nutralize but rims and other such parts are to big to boil for me. Thanks so far for the ideas. You can never learn to much.
