Cadmium is a little different metal than chrome so I'm not sure
just how phosphoric acid would work on it, but here are a batch
of parts that the cad was in bad shape and I stripped them in a
phosphoric acid bath:

Problem is, finding phosphoric acid. Used to be in the concrete
cleaners but they're taking those off the market. Gotta check
the labels real close.
