Ok, here is an update. AMP/Tyco Electronics (now TE Connectivity) makes these terminals. They are "open barrel with insulation support".
Manufacturer link Jameco Electronics has some. Don't ask me why they only show up under "ring tongue WITHOUT insulation grip". Browse about halfway down the list.
