I am putting a 235 into my 1952 which was 6 volt. The 235 happens to be set up for 12 volt (coil, solenoid switch starter, and alternator).
1. With old wiring, is it safe to go 12 volt? What kind of relays, etc may be needed.
2. I kind of want to use my old foot stomp starter setup. I presume I would need to use my old 6 volt starter for that, which needs a new switch anyway. If so, should I get a 6 volt or 12 volt switch ?
