Again, thanks! | | | | Joined: Sep 2008 Posts: 872 Shop Shark | | Shop Shark Joined: Sep 2008 Posts: 872 | Umm... if its a mechanical fuel pump there is no need to vent it.. the base (with the arm) is open to the interior of the block, which IS open to atmosphere (via the PCV or simple draft tube).
Also, the location of this weep hole is not at the lowest point or any point where fuel would readily pool to indicate a problem.
Is there anything in a shop manual about this hole????? Just curious. | | |
