I bought it back in 96 when I had less money than I do now for my 37 just to get paint on it before it was a fad. It has held up very well, I drove it daily with out rear fenders for years and it held off rock chips etc better than expected. It will also go on with out a base of primer, so that was nice. I was told then to use their thinner, not sure if you have to or not, but it was also cheap.
If you want black, I say go for it.
