think about it a minute. if it is in the stock location and you get hit hard enough to make the tank leak. You will be too dead to care. Behind the rearend is one of the worst locations from a safety standpoint. I could see it if you are a very large person and need the extra room. But, it's your truck you can do whatever you want, just giving you something to think about.
