My neighbor is converting his '86 Land Cruiser to diesel power and will give me the old 2F engine. It only has 80K miles on it.
According to the info I can find on line these engines are based on the Chevy and GMC engines and were built under license from GM. They have a high nickle content block and this one is carbureted so no computer issues.It's 4.2 L displacement.
Has anyone used this engine in an AD Chevy pickup?
It's a side mount design but I'm using Scott Danforth's metric cross member so that shouldn't be an issue.
