Hey guys, I got a question about what I thought was a truck frame, now I am not sure. A buddy gave me a rolling chassis that he said was from a 46 half ton. He even brought it to me and I just now took a look at it and I realized that it tapers in width all the way to the back where is is 46" wide. I have had a bunch of trucks and my brothers 40 is a 3/4 ton and all of them have had straight frames once you got to the firewall. This frame has a 235 in it with a 4 speed that has the reverse lockout lever on it and the pedal assy is attached to the bellhousing, it all looks normal to me except the frame. Is this a car frame maybe? it is app 117 inch wheel base, the rear axle tubes expand or get larger at the ends between the springs and the backing plates. The rear springs are 1 3/4" wide. Both ends are 6 lug.

What do you think?
