For helping keep this great
old truck web site
on the Internet for over 30 years! and not clogged down with Ads! Looked good in movie, in real life door frames are all putty (no structure nor window channels or operable windows) windshield is 1/16" plexi held in with pop rivets, over 3/4 of frame was cut out under cab on Big Birds side (reason bumper is crooked in movie, frame bent under floor so pointed up at bumper) and roof was extended front to back using furnace duct sheet. Not a thing was welded, all just spot brazed.. Putty on back of cab turned out to be 1.5" thick where they added the 11" extension..
We will probably stay same blue, keeping the sticker in the rear window visible in the movie and while it'll be a step side, will probably add a small wood stake set. | | |
